Community Masterclasses

Community Masterclasses
April 5, 2022 6:00pm

We know that we can connect with God through participating in worship, and by spending time in prayer. But do we always recognize the ways that we can encounter God through ordinary moments each day? During Lent, you are invited to attend masterclasses showing us how we can experience a meaningful and holy connection with God through everyday sorts of activities. Sign up for a different class for each week, or dig deep into one area all through Lent.

Everyone is invited to bring a brown bag dinner and gather with friends and family in the Fellowship Hall at 6 p.m.  Masterclasses for a variety of interests and skill levels will begin at 6:30 p.m.

DIY

For those who love to get their hands dirty-ish. Working with your hands creates opportunities for reflection and introspection while nurturing a sense of exploration, creativity and passion for your work. Each week, we’ll meet in (or near) the scout hut for hands-on projects like refinishing wooden cooking utensils or for demonstrations on gardening and composting. Some of your own materials may be required.
