General Conference, the gathering of United Methodist representatives from across the globe that is scheduled every four years, is just around the corner. Elected delegates, as the decision making body for the denomination, will meet in Charlotte, NC, April 23-May 3. Throughout April, we will have several opportunities to learn more about United Methodism in general and details about the UMC General Conference in particular. Whether you are brand new to United Methodism, a life-long participant in the life of the denomination, or anywhere in between, we hope you’ll take advantage of these times to gather and learn together!
