Meet Mike Farrell

Mike is a long-time member of the church. His wife, Lisa, is a lifelong member of our church. They are blessed with four children and three beautiful grandchildren. Mike moved here from Indiana for a job at Bell Helicopter where he continues to work.  Mike is currently the Associate Technical Fellow of Aerodynamics & Performance. His degree from Purdue University is in Aeronautics & Astronautics. While attending Purdue he also worked at NASA on the Space Shuttle and likes to joke that he is a “Rocket Scientist”. Mike is also an avid bicyclist riding 4000 miles a year.   

Mike tells everyone that he is a product of God’s grace and this church. He moved here from Indiana not knowing a person in Texas and was graciously welcomed by the community and our church. Mike has been blessed to serve our church as a leader in many areas, including as the church Lay Leader. 

He is available to teach from the ILS or from any Bible based topic. He enjoys exploring common Christian phrases, for example, “Turn your Life over to Christ.” What does that mean?  He strives to help us to apply God’s teachings into our everyday lives.
