Senior Adult Ministry

Our Senior Adult Ministry is a vibrant and active community for adults ages 60 and older at First United Methodist Church Hurst.
Through fellowship, faith, service, and shared experiences, senior adults stay connected with one another and continue growing in community together.
Whether gathering for Bible studies, pickleball, lunches, day trips, service opportunities, or special events, there are many ways to build friendships and find belonging here.

This ministry is about more than activities alone.
It is a community that walks through life together, celebrating joyful moments, supporting one another through challenges, and staying connected in every season of life.
You do not have to be a church member to participate, and we would love to welcome you into the life of this ministry.

Senior Adult Newsletter

Every Wednesday, we send an email to our senior adults with information and invitations designed specifically for them. You do not have to be a church member to receive this communication or to participate in any of our activities.

She helps coordinate gatherings, outings, and opportunities to stay connected, while also walking with senior adults and their families through hospital visits, rehab and senior living visits, and ongoing pastoral care throughout the year. Her heart for this ministry is helping people continue growing in faith, friendship, and belonging in every season of life.
