FUMC Hurst is excited to invite you to join us for "Imagining God's World"!

Monday, June 3 through Thursday, June 6
6-8 p.m. | Snack supper begins at 5:30 p.m. each evening

This year’s VBS will focus on children being followers of Jesus, seeking the incredible world God imagines for all people. Through interactive games and meaningful activities, children will hear and tell stories, learn ways to be champions for children and youth in our world, experience ways to maximize care for others, discover ways to express God’s love to others and discover ways to invite and encourage others to join in along the way.

A training for volunteers will be held Sunday, May 19 at 11:45 a.m.
Childcare will be available. 

You can make a purchase online and have it shipped directly to us by selecting
“FUMC Hurst Abbie Arellano’s Gift Registry Address” in the shipping instructions.

Walmart and Dollar Tree gift cards are also needed
to purchase items not available online.

What ages of children can attend?

Activities are geared to children entering Kindergarten through 6th grade. Advance registration is requested so that supplies can be prepped. 

Do I need to stay with my children at VBS or can I drop them off?

You will need to bring your child inside each evening to check them in and to pick them up. You do not need to stay with your child during VBS, but you are welcome to. On Thursday evening, parents and families are encouraged to attend with their child to see all that they have been doing during the week.

What is the cost of VBS?

While VBS is free, we are asking each family to consider a donation of $10 per person for the week to help with the cost of the snack suppers. If you would like to contribute, please do so when registering.

I can't attend all of the dates. Can I come to some of them?

Of course, come to as many or a few of the VBS dates that work with your family’s schedule.
