Sarah Garza

Sarah is a lifelong United Methodist and proud TCU alum, who always has more books on her “to be read” list than is humanly possible to read. She has been on staff at FUMC Hurst since 2016, when she began as a ministry intern while finishing her final year of seminary at Perkins School of Theology. Now a provisional deacon, Sarah serves as the Minister of Connecting Ministries where she gets to live out her deep passion for helping people find their place as a part of a community of faith, and to help others recognize God’s work in the ordinary moments of life.
Sarah and her husband, Robert, have two young children who keep them on their toes and bring lots of laughter (and head shaking) to their lives.
