Beckie has been part of the church staff since January 1996. Before coming to FUMC Hurst, she was a Graphics Illustrator at Carswell AFB and a Technical Publications Illustrator at Lockeed Martin.

Beckie was born in Washington, D.C., and raised mainly in Fort Worth. She has a BFA in Art from the University of Texas at Arlington, where she minored in Art History and German.

Beckie is a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class and enjoys collecting Depression Glass, cooking, and art. Her husband, Steve, is also a member of FUMC Hurst. They have two children, Justin and Whitney, and a dog, Molly.
