The FUMC Hurst Blog will give all who read it a glimpse into the ways our ministries are impacting the lives of individuals in our congregation, our community, and our world. At the same time, this will be a place where our contributors will share their thoughts and feelings on current events around the world and in our own backyard.

Stock the Pantry

Mission Central serves over 400 HEB families each month. Pick up a bag and list at the Welcome Center and see how your family can help. Filled bags can be returned to the Welcome Center. 

Mobile Food Pantry

Mission Central and FUMC Hurst, in partnership with Tarrant Area Food Bank, host a mobile food pantry the second Friday of each month. Contact Catherine Hollis to volunteer.

2019-2020 Day School Registration

Registration is now open for current Day School families and FUMC Hurst members. Day School offers classes for children ages two months to four years old by September 1, 2019. Extended hours are available from 8:30-3:30 Monday through Thursday. Register by April 30 and receive $25 off of the registration fee. Enrollment forms can be picked up in the Day School office Monday-Thursday or printed online. For information or to schedule a tour call 817.968.3862.

For children (grades K-5) and their parents. Focus will be on major issues like bullying, test anxiety, common fears, social pressures and more. Workshop is free. Pizza ($3 per person) is available with online registration.
