Missionaries

Helps support the work of Susie Canafax and Brenda and Chris Coffyn, James and Marge Tillary's daughter and husband. Also helps support work with the growing Hispanic population in our conference. Missionaries hope to connect churches with changing communities, teach cultural sensitivity and training to include English as a Second Language for ministers needing to learn Spanish.

United Methodist Women

Money used to support mission projects includes Mission Central, Hands of Healing, Metropolitan Board of Missions, Care Core, Women's Haven, Presbyterian Night Shelter, Youth Mission trips, Hugworks, Methodist Children's Home, and scholarships to a student from Bellaire Elementary who has graduated from High School and is going to college.
