Attendance
In keeping with the group covenant, it is expected that those who take Disciple commit this weekly time to class. Occasionally you will miss for personal reasons, however, if you miss more than three classes, you should talk with your class leader. Sporadic attendance and poor preparation hurts the individual as well as the entire covenant group, and in such cases it is best for a person to leave the Disciple class and start over another time. If you know prior to registration you would miss more than three classes, please consider taking Disciple another year. Class meeting days and times vary in an attempt to accommodate a variety of schedules.

Registration
Registration for the upcoming classes begins Sunday, July 9, 2006.

Cost and Supplies
There is a $45 charge to cover the cost of the student book and Disciple recognition pin. Payment plans and scholarships are available.

You will also need a study Bible. The recommended study Bible for the course is the New Interpreter's Study Bible (New Revised Standard Version), which is made available for purchase in the Fellowship Hall when registration begins. Other Bible translations such as the NIV and the New King James Version are also suitable. It is not recommended that you use the King James Bible, which used outdated language that obscures the meaning of the text, or paraphrased Bibles such the New Living Translation which often result in a very loose translation from the original text.

The church provides training for group leaders, Disciple videos, meeting rooms, and childcare at no charge.

Childcare
Childcare is available at no cost for all of our Disciple classes. Childcare needs are communicated as part of the registration process.
