Our youth ministries are aimed at living, learning, and leading the way of Jesus the Christ. Summer mission trips embody this mission statement. These missions are life changing for the students and for those whom they serve. Students stretch themselves by participating in cultures different from their own, working to bring positive change to the areas they visit, and marking their life-changing experiences through personal journals and worship.
Thank you for helping our students to be in mission!
In June a group of senior high students worked Tennessee working on flood relief. In July, other senior high students went to Guatemala to work with Salud y Paz (Health and Peace) on a building project.
Junior high students went to San Marcos to work with the Southside Community Center (sponsored by the Southwest Texas Conference of the UMC). They worked on homes of families in need in the San Marcos area.
