Oh come, let us sing to the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!     –Psalm 95

Come sing with us!

We believe that all children are creative and musical and should have the opportunity to develop these gifts. Our children's choir seeks to inspire a love of music in children.

Our award-winning Children's choir meets weekly from 5-6 p.m. on Sundays during the school year. No auditions are required and all children in Kindergarten-5th grade are welcome. Children will meet for choir in W121.

All children’s choirs sing regularly in worship services, present a Christmas Pageant, and produce a spring musical.  Each July, Music and Arts Camp is offered for children entering first through fifth grade.

Examples of past performances:

  • Lead Worship Service Monthly in Song
  • Concerts with Composers
  • Yearly Christmas Pageant
  • Caroling at Retirement Homes
  • First Hurst Idol Talent Competition
  • Combined Concert with Neighboring Schools
  • Spring Musical
  • NRH2O Choir Competition

Yearly Christmas Pageant: A favorite tradition! Our children retell the story of Jesus birth through drama and song and costumes! While solos and speaking parts are available to children in grades 3-5 who audition, all are welcome to sing in the chorus and participate. This year's performance will be on Sunday, December 6 and includes dinner at 6pm in the Fellowship Hall.

NRH2O Choir Competition: The two time 'Superior' rated Covenant Singers (grades 3-5) will compete in the NRH2O Choir Festival again May 2016. Come join us for a day of play before the park has opened to the general public! Choirs, bands, and orchestras perform before a judge followed by an award ceremony in the afternoon. *Nominal fee/scholarships available.
