All of our Sunday School classes meet Sunday at 9:45 a.m. and include classes specifically for women, singles, couples, and adults with special needs, in addition to mixed classes.

6:19 (W124)

Age: 18-25
6:19 is a class for young adults ages 18-25. Typically our class consists of college students or those who are ging to school and working part time. Our class lessons vary from topical lessons to studying the scriptures. Our lessons are presented in discussion format. We have monthly socials that are well attended and we are excited about not only growing our class size, but growing our faith. Our attendance is typically 5-8 during the school year, 15-20 during the summer months.

Cornerstone (I201)

All Ages
If you've never been to Sunday School, the Cornerstone Class is a good place to start! This welcoming inter-generational class is discussion–based. Average attendance is 12.

Scripture Seekers (I101)

All Ages

The main focus of this class is Bible study. Scripture Seekers consists of singles and couples. All ages are welcome. Their common link is the desire to grow in the knowledge of God’s will through Bible study. The diversity of the membership allows for looking at scripture from a rich variety of perspectives. Class members lead the International Lesson Series. The class participates in occasional special studies. Average attendance is 12.

Nouvelle Vie (W202)

All Ages
Nouvelle Vie is a French–speaking Bible study especially for African immigrants. In addition to Sunday morning study, this group provides support to African immigrants through social interaction, family education, and home visits.

Point Of Grace (W205)

All Ages - Women

Nurturing each other as we journey in faith together, Point of Grace is a Christian group of women with diverse backgrounds and faith stories. We are mission minded, enjoy learning, and consider ourselves prayer warriors. Through socials, monthly luncheons, and mission projects, we stay connected outside Sunday School and worship. Consider joining us; we would enjoy having you in Point of Grace.  Average attendance is 18-20.

Explorers on a Journey (I203)

Age: 20s and 30s
We are a group of single and married people in our 20's and 30's. We come from a wide variety of life experiences. Our lessons are discussion based and focus on a broad range of topics including currents events, life stages and biblical studies. We enjoy monthly lunches and socials as well as participating in mission projects.

Anchors (Parlor / I103)

Age: 20s and early 30s
Formed in 2007, Anchors invites young couples with preschool-aged children, as well as couples who do not have children, to join their fellowship. Many class members are new to the church. Members are also involved in a number of ministries including Chancel Choir, Revelation Ringers, Caring Christian Mothers, Photo Ministry, and Harvest Festival. Average attendance is 16.

Logos (W204)

Age: 30s and 40s

Combining spiritual formation with fellowship and support for growing families, Logos is a class for couples in their 30s and 40s with infant to elementary age children. Family socials are scheduled regularly. Class lessons vary from studies of the Biblical narrative to current global issues. Most lessons allow for group discussion. Average attendance is 24.

Discovery (W203)

Age: 30s and 40s

Discovery welcomes couples and singles. Many class members have children (preschool to elementary age). A mission-minded group, Discovery volunteers once a month at Mission Central. Lessons alternate between the International Lesson Series and short-term topics, led by class members as well as other teachers from within the church. Monthly socials alternate between adults only and family friendly. Average attendance is 12.

New Beginnings (W120)

Age: 40s
With children ranging in age from elementary through high school, New Beginnings welcomes singles and couples who enjoy both family and adult-only socials, as well as a variety of lesson topics on Sunday mornings. Class members are involved in children’s and youth ministries, adult education, and a variety of mission ministries in our church. Socials include Ladies’ and Men’s Nights Out, couples events, and family parties. Average attendance is 16.

Open Door (W207)

Age: 40s and early 60s
We are Open Door; a class whose culture reflects its name by sustaining long term membership as well as welcoming new members. We put our faith into action through our mission and service to others, member support, regular class socials and practical application of Bible study led by class members and guests. Children of class members range in age from Junior High to adult. Average attendance is 18.

Faithful Disciples (W106)

Age: 40s and 50s
Faithful Disciples strengthens families through mutual support and Christian formation of its members. The class studies a variety of Bible-based topics (including lessons from the International Lesson Series), and enjoy a combination lecture/discussion format. Class size and friendly atmosphere encourage lively discussion. Socials and mission projects are scheduled regularly. Average attendance is 15.

Friendship (W210)

Age: 50s and 60s
Friendship class members enjoy a diverse range of lesson topics, including the International Lesson Series, as well as short-term, Bible-based, topical studies. Regular socials and mission projects keep class members busy, and class members are involved in many ministries of our church. Average attendance is 24.

Agape (W206)

Age: 60+

Agape members enjoy a variety of lessons, with open discussion encouraged as they study the Bible and learn more about their roles as Christians in today's world. The class is mission-minded, and takes advantage of the varied skills and interests, time, and talents of class members to share Christ's love in different ways through the church and community. Class socials include fun, food, and fellowship. Average attendance is 12.

Goal Diggers (W105)

Age: 60+
The Goal Diggers are full-of-life Christians who demonstrate their faith through love, study service, witness and fellowship. The class is actively involved with many church and community mission-oriented projects. Lessons vary monthly with class leaders teaching on various topics in Biblical context. Fellowship is an important aspect of Christian development and  the Goal Diggers host social events throughout the year. Average attendance is 23.

Harmony (W122)

Age: 60+
Harmony members share a mission statement: “Because God has accepted us as we are, we will strive to accept all people. We welcome diversity, as we hope to become an inclusive part of a church of open hearts, open minds, and open doors. We will give ourselves to acts of mercy to the community at large.” Average attendance is 23.

Genesis (W208)

Age: 50s and 60s
Genesis is an open, caring and joyous group of adults seeking to learn and grow with other Christians through study and sharing of the scripture as it relates to our lives today. We strive to understand other religions and cultures so that we may live in harmony with others. As Genesis members, we seek to express our faith through the support we show to each other and our church family, through service in our church, the community and beyond and by being living examples of the teachings of Christ. Average attendance is 42.

Christian Homebuilders (W121)

Age: 70+
Christian Homebuilders enjoy Bible study using the International Lesson Series and primarily follows a lecture-based format. Monthly class socials are well-attended, and class members are active in many diverse areas of our congregation. Average attendance is 41.

Questers (W209)

Age: 60+
A large and active class, Questers class members are involved in many ministries of our church. On Sunday mornings, they enjoy singing at the beginning of class. Class lessons follow the International Lesson Series, with occasional special studies as requested by class members. Class members enjoy traveling together, and class socials are always lively. Average attendance is 34.

Searching Together (W103/104)

Age: 60+
A large and lively class, Searching Together studies a variety of topics in addition to the International Lesson Series curriculum. Many class members sing in the Chancel Choir, and the class is always ready to support the various ministries of the church. Mission projects and class socials are held regularly, and they are always ready to welcome new friends. Average attendance is 44.

Singles

Single Friends (W123)

Age: 50+
As the name implies, this is a group where meaningful friendships are formed. Committed to meeting the spiritual and social needs of area singles, Single Friends always has their welcome mat out! Class members enjoy a variety of Bible-based topics on Sunday mornings, and those who are not in the choir tend to sit together at  11 a.m. worship. The class social calendar includes theater outings, Friendship group and seasonal parties. Average attendance is 17.

Spanish Speaking Ministries

Compañeros En Cristo (C 106)

Any Age

Compañeros en Cristo is a Sunday School class taught in Spanish for person who prefer Spanish and the Hispanic/Latino culture. This class welcomes all people from native Spanish speakes to those learning Spanish. Times of prayer, singing, and learning are shared in a conversational format.

Compañeros en Cristo es una clase enseñada en español para personas que prefieren el español y la cultura Hispana/Latina. Esta clase da una bienvenida a todos, incluyendo a los que son hispanohablantes y a los que están aprendiendo el español. Las oraciones, himnos, y lecciones son presentadas en una forma conversacional.

Adults With Special Needs

Gateway to Faith (C 115)

Any Age
Gateway to Faith is a class for adults who have special needs, including those with Autism, Down Syndrome, and other conditions that benefit from small class size and individualized instruction. Class leaders are Dee Hutchinson and Nancy Nelson. Average attendance is 5.
