Rachelle came to Dayschool as a teacher when her daughter was a student. Working with children brought her such pleasure that she has stayed around as Assistant Director. She is a native of Fort Worth but lived in Cincinnati during her elementary years. Her family moved back to Texas and landed in Hurst when she was in junior high. Rachelle is a proud graduate of LD Bell High School.
 
When she was in the 7th grade a friend at Hurst Junior High brought Rachelle to FUMC Hurst. She attended Confirmation Class, was baptized, and has been a member ever since. She and her husband Ken have two daughters, Jill and Audrey — who they’ve raised in this church as well.
 
Rachelle enjoys going to concerts, traveling, watching Dallas Mavericks basketball and Ranger baseball, and spending time with her family. She loves being outside in the sunshine, washing her car or walking her dog. Sports and music keep Rachelle happy!
