Holly joined the staff of FUMC Hurst in June
2002 after serving as the Children's Director at Cannon UMC in
Snellville, Georgia (1999-2002) while in Seminary. Before that, she
taught elementary school in Allen and Pflugerville, Texas (Kindergarten
and third grade) from 1995-1999.
Holly was born in Stephenville, Texas, and raised in Granbury. She attended Granbury High School. She has a BA in Child Study and Language Development, with a specialization in early childhood education, and an Elementary and Early Childhood Teaching Certification from Southwestern University. She obtained her Master of Divinity and Christian Education Certificate from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University and was ordained Deacon in Full Connection in June 2005. Holly is a member of the Central Texas Christian Educators Fellowship and the Glen Lake Camp Board of Directors. She enjoys reading and crafts and lives with her husband Rob and Toby the cat. |
