About us...
Thanks for checking us out. Genesis class is a fun-loving, supportive group of adults who enjoy Bible study, are involved in many church activities, and have a great time in fellowship both in and out of the Sunday School classroom.
Lessons are primarily from the International Lesson Series and are supplemented by occasional short-term studies. Our members aren't shy about expressing their opinions and discussing topics so classes are interesting and lively!
We support various mission activities such as Habitat for Humanity, Mission Central, youth mission trips, and we always adopt a family through Christmas Providers. Our class members sing in the Church choirs, serve on various committees and boards, and are very vested in Harvest Festival. We are involved!
Our social events include various activities such as plays, picnics, and game nights plus annual events such as a fish fry, a lake outing, and a progressive dinner at Christmas. This year, we're also going to have a service project.
We meet on the second floor of the Wesley Building in Room W208 (overlooking Coffee Fellowship). We usually have about 30 present each Sunday. We're mostly in our 50s and 60s and are made up of both couples and singles.
Please come and visit! Whether you're new to the Church or an existing member looking for a change, we've got an extra seat with your name on it. We'd love to get to know you!
